KIEV, Sep 6 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom did not book additional pipeline capacities in Ukraine despite record prices and deficit in Europe, CEO of the national pipeline operator Sergei Makogon said in a Facebook post Monday.
"In spite of record E.U. gas prices and a lack of stocks in the European storages, Gazprom did not book additional transit capacities of 15 million cubic meters of gas per day in September, which will result in reduction of transit from 124 million cubic meters per day to 109 million cubic meters per day," the official said.
